'Tis the Season...

Crys and I finally put up a few Christmas trees 2 nights ago! We were just sick with ourselves for waiting so long. This is the first time that I can recall being so late... usually, no matter what, my trees go up November 1st. 3 weeks late is completely unacceptable for me! Anyways, we were able to put up 5 trees and we did it all alone. This was the first time we didn't have our family help :( We were both a little sad about that but we still had a fabulous time! Crys fell, twice! Once she kind of collapsed into me and shoved me into the wall. We were hysterical! Then, while I was working on something on the floor, she tripped on a cord as she was trying to surprise me by taking my picture. We were even more hysterical!!! We also accidentally started a fire on our coffee table. No worries- only the tulle was damaged but we were still able to use most of it! It all happened so quick, thank God Crys reacted faster than I did because I moved as slow as molasses (I blame the sickness)! Oh dear, it could have been an ugly mess if it wasn't for Crys putting it out so quickly. All in all, it was a glorious evening at home- a great roommate/sister bonding experience :)

AFTER! For now Lynne is going to live on the fireplace. I think she likes it! We're taking down our Fall decor right after we eat Thanksgiving dinner :)

PS- Our other 2 trees are on the porch. We didn't decorate, just placed them by the front door but they still count! Stay tuned- at least 3 more trees to come...
