Monkey Motherhood

Last night I watched My Baby Monkey on TLC- insane! What an absolutely fascinating show. I can't relate to the need to have a child that isn't human because of suffering through a horrible childhood. Nobody ever knows for a fact if they'll make a good parent or not but seriously- why would you rather want a monkey instead of an actual kid? I just don't get it because although I am an avid animal lover, I can not see myself ever referring to a pet as my son/daughter. Anyways, I think my favorite monkey was the 18 year old named Jessy. Her parents were hilarious! Here they are...
