Matchmaker Wannabe

Sunday after church I went to spend a few hours with my favorite little man, Robert. His mom and sister went to the Ballet so it was just the two of us before I had to drop him off at a friend's house. Once I got there, Robert asked me (for the billionth time) how old I was so I told him. He said, "Great! I have someone here for you to meet and marry and he's 28!" I about wanted to die! He had called his uncle over so that we could meet because the kids are obsessed with me getting married. I have told them for years that it's their job to find someone to marry me and now that they are a little older, they are really trying to make things happen. Oh dear! Robert kept telling me to tell his uncle to take me to dinner at his favorite restaurant and he kept asking his uncle if he met me. While we chatted, Robert just stood in between us- staring and giggling. What a little matchmaker wannabe! As sweet as it was for Robert to try and make me "not lonely" anymore, I can't help but hope that was the last time those two characters try anything. I have a horrible feeling it won't be...
