Yabba Dabba Do!

The other day I remembered that I am anemic. I somehow forgot that because I don't eat beef, I have really low iron. When it gets really bad, I lose all coloring in my palms, lips, gums, etc. but this time was a little different. It wasn't until I could barely keep my eyes open on my drive home the other afternoon that I realized the reason for my extreme fatigue. Well, as simple a problem as this should be to fix, I DESPISE relying on pills so I have never been good at taking iron supplements and consuming beef is not an option. I gave this situation some serious consideration and decided that I should just saddle up and take pills. I was a little apprehensive about the pills so I figured the best option would be to start taking Flinstones vitamins! As long as my body requires more iron, I might as well make sure it's something I enjoy doing, right?!?! They taste good and it's fun guessing which character I'll get! I'm 5 days in and can already tell I have LOTS more energy and I'm not dreading my vitamin regimen every day. Yeah... SUCCESS!!!!!
