One day I'm walkin' away...

When I came home tonight I was quite alarmed. I found one of our 3 brightly decorated recycle bins about 12 houses down the street, the other 2 bins were 2 houses down in the other direction and we were missing our trash can. I'm very sad to report that one of our bin lids has not been recovered :( Although I picked up our stray recycle bins immediately, I waited several hours til Crys got home to hunt down an abandoned trash can. We just returned from walking the streets of our neighborhood... literally. We didn't feel like walking on the sidewalk so we used the middle of the street! Crys wore a wrap our neighbor brought her from Florida- I'm sure we were quite a sight! I know Crys was and I just had to document...


PS- If you haven't adorned your recycle bins with brightly colored duct tape, I highly suggest you do so immediately. I really don't want to even think about how angry I would have been if our bins were missing and had not been labeled. Eek!
