I LOOOOOVE animals!!!! I have always been one to roll around on the ground and play with them. My mother has never understood and always gets a little annoyed because I get covered in cat hair but I absolutely love it and don't mind one little bit. This whole month I have been house/petsitting 2 dogs, 1 cat and 2 hermit crabs. Honestly, the hermit crabs don't interest me much (I play with them a little bit even though I don't think they like me) but I have been in HEAVEN with the dogs and cat! Lucky, Buck and Bells are fabulous pets and I've known them for years but this month we really became best friends :)
Lucky is a gentle lady and I cherish every moment we're together. I've known her the longest- about 6 years- and she is just the sweetest thing! It's hard for her to move around but she does a little jumpy dance when she sees me and it always makes me smile :) She loves her treats and it's so hard for me to not give her one every time she wants one. I'm such a pushover! Buck is rather hyper at times and gets so excited when I come home that he almost knocks me over every time! He follows me around the house and even if he is sound asleep but I get up, he jumps up and walks right beside me. He is very protective and I sleep soundly knowing he is guarding me and the house. What a gentelman! Bells is the sweetest cat and she is such a cuddle bug! She's always loved me but when she got hurt a few months back (broken paw and infection), I rushed her to the emergency vet and helped take care of her so since then she's loved me even more! Oddly enough, Bellsy is a boy but EVERYONE calls her a girl because she is so gentle and loving. I took some pics of the dogs tonight but Bells was playing outside. He has lots of girlfriends in the neighborhood and lots of birds to eat so he stays busy (that's probably the first time I've called Bells a 'he')...
