A few weeks ago I went to see Whip It with my friend, Courtney. We absolutely LOVED the movie and have been desperately wanting roller skates since we saw it! It's been a good many years since I've roller skated, I used to enjoy roller blading but even that was a long while ago. Anyways, we both kind of want to be Roller Derby chicks now and while I was reading 360 West the other day, I saw an article for Derby Devils. It seems there is a pretty large roller derby following in the DFW area! I spent a good while on the website earlier and can't wait to attend one of the events. What a fabulous experience that will be :)
