State Fair!

Last week I went to the State Fair with Crys and Carlos. We had so much fun! I was completely nauseous by the end of the evening but it was totally worth it! We all tried each other's food so there was pretty much constant eating. We had funnel cake, a turkey leg, fruit, fried broccoli and bacon bites, fried snickers, fried butter, fried peaches and cream, a pickle, cotton candy and some of the best homeade lemonade ever! There was also a corney dog and sausage on a stick that I did not try. The ONLY thing me and Crys wanted to ride was the Texas Star but that didn't happen :( By the time we made our way to it, it was broke. We sulked for a good 10 minutes (while I finished my pickle) and then we went on our way to track down the fried peaches and cream. Me and Crys were totally ready for the rain but none came. It downpoured earlier that day but was perfect Fair weather while we were there.

This was the first year I'd gone to the Fair in probably ten years... that's just too long! We went on a Dr. Pepper day too so we got in for $3- can't beat that! And we got some wonderful chair massages :) I thought the sales guy was a bit of a creeper when he took off my shoes though. Oh well, the massage was worth the creepiness.
