Golden

I am very happy to report that I am now the proud owner of 49 Little Golden Books!!!!! Someone gave my mom a box of books and she offered them to me and Crys. I never turn down free books so I gladly took them all :) I think my favorite from this batch is The Poky Little Puppy. I love that looking through Golden Books, even the cute little characters on the back of each one, instantly takes me back to my childhood. Fun times! Perhaps that's why I love books so much, they never change and neither does weather phone. I find comfort when I call 817.844.5522 (or whatever area code I happen to be in) to check on the time and weather and hear that familiar voice I have heard millions of times since I was little. Ahhhh, sometimes it's the smallest things that make me happy ;)
