Today is my Peace Lily's HALF BIRTHDAY! I have Lynne her for exactly 6 months!!! I can't believe I've only had her for such a short time. She has enriched my life so much, way more than I have hers, and she still brings a smile to my face every time I see her. I am constantly reminded of the reason I got her and am thankful that her presence helps me remember how precious life is.
In other news- I am now a fan of the Twilight series! NEVER saw this coming but alas, it has happened :) I just finished the second book, New Moon and am ready to start the third! I have another book to finish tonight though. I forgot how much I love reading. I wish I could just stay home all day, every day and read. I've read over 1200 pages (1st, 2nd and 5th books in the series) in exactly one week and have barely watched any television! For some reason, I have a real fear of my brain shrinking (that's why I spend hours playing Sudoku) and reading is helping me excercise my mind, even if it is fiction ;)
