ICE!!!

Today is an ICE day! School has been cancelled (of course I don't have class but Cryssy did!) and we're both excited to be home :) Being the procrastinator I am I have put off running some incredibly important errands until today so I must brave the harsh conditions and deal with them. Luckily, us Texans know how to drive on the ice ;)

In other news... last night was MY first night of class. I was terribly sick the first real week of class and had to skip :( Last night I was LAAAAATE by about 15 minutes and missed our very first quiz! Traffic was just awful! I was pretty upset and wanted to cry as I sat in traffic watching the time pass me by. It took me 1 hour and 25 minutes to get to TCU and I was beyond frustrated... I had only planned for 1 hour and 10 minutes but I assure you, this shall never happen again! Despite missing the quiz and NOT being allowed to make it up, it was a wonderful class! We watched a documentary on the Quiz Show Scandals and if you aren't familiar with the scandals, I highly recommend it! I don't think I can express how much I enjoy learning about new things!!! And of course last night's class was a grad school reunion of sorts and it made my heart smile to be with most of all my old pals :)
